Well... I'm finally on the road again on the opening leg of 'Roadtrip 2011'. First stop... Palm Springs, California.
One of the things Palm Springs is most famous for is this HUGE wind farm. Some people consider it an eyesore. Personally, I think it is one of the most interesting things in this ugly desert. A lot of people just rave about how wonderful Palm Springs is. I dunno... It doesn't really do much for me. It looks just like Phoenix. I've just spent five months around Phoenix. Enough with the desert!!! Bring on the Pacific coast!
Anyway... These were both shot with the self timer, while, holding the tripod from blowing over with one hand, and shielding my face from blowing sand with the other. They really should put these things in a place that isn't so DAMN WINDY!!! It would make them a lot easier to shoot! A lot of my photos came out blurry because my tripod was vibrating from the wind.
