At least 5 people now have written me and said that I have to check out the light show thingy they have at Fremont street while I'm in Vegas. So... I finally did. It's pretty neat. It's this quarter mile long section of street that's closed off to vehicle traffic. The entire length of the road has a rounded roof overhead. On the roof are these billions of little LED lights, forming a gigantic video screen. So, basically the roof is a quarter mile long TV. Every hour, they dim all the lights and have some big video show on the ceiling. It's all set to music. It's pretty cool. It's almost impossible to get a good shot of, but it's pretty cool.
So, I'm finally gettin the hell out of here. Today. It's going to be a long drive. The next few weeks should be exciting. If things go as planned, I should be seeing some of my favorite places that I've ever visited. Sequoia National Park, home of the worlds largest trees. Yosemite. Possibly Lake Tahoe. Then, back down to the north rim of the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, then Colorado.
