the storm three

    Newer Older

I think I have a bit of a hangup. I have just realized that my attention span will not allow me to post more than three photos in a series. I have several more in "the storm" series but for some reason the thought of posting another one tomorrow sits wrong with me. As I say with most fourth in the series photos ... maybe on a rainy day.

I know this is quite a "bunchup" in the middle but I really like the way it feels. Plus, whether it catches you right away or not I wanted to keep the shadow the sun was casting. It is one of those things that is not very noticable until you remove it and then it feels odd.

A couple of people have mentioned the gradient or vignetting of the sky in this series. That was intentional when I shot them using a circular polarizer. With there being no clouds out that day I wanted a little something extra to make the sky a bit more dramatic.

I am hoping to get out this evening to shoot some more material ... famous last words.
