Goats eat weeds at Cloisters City Park July 2011

    Goats employed in the Morro Bay, CA Cloisters City Park to eat weeds around the pond area. Initially there were about 36 goats, all with horns. A few days later there are about 60 goats as of 22 July 2011.

The California Conservation Corp worked on parkway renovation along Emerald Circle in The Cloisters Monday. Staff will work on replanting and mulching over the next couple weeks. Beth Reynolds of "Green Goats" will be dropping off about 40 wethers in the fenced in pond area at The Cloisters today where they will remain, clearing brush for the next 10-14 days.”

      We had two goats on our farm. Nanny goats actually. They are obnoxious creatures who will eat anything. One once ate a plant off my kitchen counter. It's a long story...

      I will always have a certain fondness for goats.
