Great Egret (Ardea alba) on Morro Strand State Beach, CA

This is a somewhat manipulated version of my Great Egret photo posted at - Great Egret (Ardea alba), Morro Strand State Beach, Morro Bay, CA 16may2007 - Canon 20D 100-400mm IS handheld - photo by Mike Baird - this "manipulation" was attempted because the horizon was not perfectly level in the original, and straightening the image would have clipped a bit of the top wing of the Great Egret... by comparing each image you can see where I have cloned pieces of the sky, water, and tips of the top wing and tips of the feet to complete the composition. Comments welcome... Mike Baird mike at mikebaird dot com\

I downloaded your flying great egret (copy attached) and sent it to them -- they liked, but it's too small for their print needs. Can you send them a suitable photo (they mentioned 4 X 6 at 300dpi)? If yes, please send to bailey.april {at] aaa-calif d o t com and anderson.lori [at} calif-aaa d o t com. I asked them in the first place to make sure to attribute to you and told them it was from Flickr with Creative Commons license. If you need anything else, of course add it. Thanks. (please let me know whether/if you send this). Glenn
