I'm working with an organization called Friends of the Riverfront to try and put up an interpretive sign about animals of the river along a river trail. I would like to use this shot as a part of the sign but I need your permission. This sign will not be for profit and is just a part of a project I'm working on, you can see this sign along the Ohio River in Pittsburgh, please reply to me if you can give me permission.
I replied: Hey Ben Robb, That's totally cool! I love to have my photos used for such projects. Only if it is practicable in this case, attribution is appreciated - but it may not be appropriate for your sign - if so no sweat. I assume you refer to www.flickr.com/photos/mikebaird/2133875401/ - I have many Osprey with fish shots - see www.flickr.com/search/?ss=2&ct=6&w=72825507@N00&a...

Wow, Mike, great one! 600 + 1.4 TC, and you nailed it in flight, great work! He used both sets of talons to clamp that fish, it is a big one. :-)

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

amazing shot mike-I would love to shoot them too-they're sooo beautiful. I heard they are the better fisherman than the bald eagles thats why the bald eagles steal their stuff sometimes especially since the bald eagle tends to be pretty lazy:)

Great shot, especially since you were land-bound! Tough to get with all that magnification. Wimberly does help. If we weren't using small boats, we'd never get these sorts of shots.
