Civitatem et Flammas (Emperor Nero)

Emperor Nero and the great fire of Rome. For this controversial story, I wanted a certain ambiguity to be conveyed. I wanted to create a design with a specific atmosphere and to tell a story in a unique and artistic way. I approached the idea by blending organic and architectural elements into one single creation. The emperor bust; burned and eroded by time with the flaming buildings on the top of his head; a constant reminder of his "madness".

*There are no additional photos taken, the MOC was built from the front perspective.

*Many thanks to my good friend, Bogdan, for helping me acquiring some of the necessary pieces.
