I discovered your articles on the wifi radio this morning and I just ordered 3 routers. Should be fun to get this working. I'm just looking for an alternative to usb-audio converter as this doesn't seem to be available in South Africa. I did however read some article somewhere on the net about an opensource usb audio card which seemed easy to build. I'm guessing that might work as well ?

I have also found the following usb sound card:

    Creative sound blaster Usb Live! 24 - 5.1 , 64-bit OS support ,
    24-bit advanced HD ( 24bit/96kHz/100dB SNR ) , EAX advanced HD , with SPDiF
    out ( optical+coaxial ) , line-in jack , individual voulmn control for mic
    + audio

Would something like this work ?

If the card is supported by OSS then there's a good chance it will work with OpenWrt. There is a list of supported cards/chipsets here:

You may have to experiment to see what really works. There have been reports of some problems with certain brands of cards, check the comments on my site.
