Stop-Motion Paper Puppet - Bing Crosby

"I'm Blue for You....Boo, Boo, Boo, Boo, Boo...."

I really admire the rare stop-motion animation done by the Disney Studio in the 1960s, especially the fanciful opening title sequences to the "Parent Trap" and "The Miss-Adventures of Merlin Jones" (starring Tommy Kirk and Annette!) I think these animated moments are every bit as fun as the live-action films that follow.

Recently Jody and I decided to recreate several of the paper animation puppets from another 60s favorite Disney flick "A Symposium On Popular Songs" The film is not widely known today, though it is included on last year's silver box DVD release "Disney Rarities." We made these puppets just for fun and gave them to our friends.

You can see Paper Bing in action in this clip conveniently here on YouTube!
