Stop-Motion Paper Puppet - Bing Crosby

"I'm Blue for You....Boo, Boo, Boo, Boo, Boo...."

Ever since I was a kid, I've admired the rare stop-motion animation done by the Disney Studio in the 1960s, especially the opening title sequences to "The Parent Trap" and "The Miss-Adventures of Merlin Jones".

Recently, as gifts for a few of our closest friends who are also cool enough to appreciate such stuff, Jody Daily and I recreated several of the paper animation puppets from another favorite Disney flick "A Symposium On Popular Songs."

The featurette is not widely known today, though it was included on last year's silver box DVD release "Disney Rarities."

You can see the paper Bing and his body of string in action in this clip conveniently here on YouTube!
