Disneyland Casa De Fritos Poster 1955
Hungry visitors to Disneyland in the 1950s and 60s could enjoy "delicious Mexican foods" such as a Frito Chile Pie - a bag of corn chips sliced open and topped with chile and melted cheese. Debuting at Disneyland in August 1955, the "Ta-cup" was ground beef, cheese, lettuce and sauce in a fried "corn dough" cup. But the real treat was seeing the mechanical "Frito Kid" in action!
