Sankt Peter-Ording IV

Quite a while ago I have been asking for help about the LEE Big Stopper on my Google+ stream, especially where to get one the quickest way. A few recommended teamworkphoto in the UK, where I placed my order then. I`ve been told that it will take at least 10 weeks and TWP placed me on the waiting list. An hour later or maybe two our good friend and photographer Laurent Coppée pm'ed me and told me that he got a spare BS...and that he would like to send me that nice piece of glass !!! Laurent, once again thank you so so much for your kind help. I still don´t know how to pay back, except with my work. This wouldn´t have been possible without you !!!

Thanks to the german snail mail it then took more than 6 days until the filter arrived and just the same day I got an email from UK, saying that they got a few from LEE and that my BS is on its way ;) Within 3 days I had two Big Stoppers :D But then one is for my job and I didn´t have to pay for it..

After some boring weather lately, today I finally had the chance to head to St. Peter-Ording beach again, just to do some serious tests with the BIG Stopper and ND grads. Wonderful skies have been forecasted with just a little touch of wind...but when I arrived this morning, I was received by 45 Mph wind. Heavy drifting sand, got stuck in the sand with my car on the beach and taking serious sharp images were almost impossible.

Finally after digging my car out of the sand, I managed to came back home with a few shots worth to show. And I really really like the results with the BS. So much easier to handle compared to my screw in´s and together with my ND grads I just get what I want to from the sky.

This is a quick edit of one of those Toilet Stilt Houses along the beach.
