I found out to day that someone I was trusting was not trust worthy.
Unfortunately, this has happened (or I allow this to happen) too much and has been very costly. Hopefully, I can finally learn and change.

i, too, have had the same unpleasant experience recently. the hardest part, i've found, is the realization that the person you thought you knew is never the person that was there. sometimes we let the wool be pulled over our eyes to the true intentions - or character - of people because we want to believe the best.

which isn't something anyone should beat themselves up about. you shouldn't lament your own inability to "spot" the untrustworthy.

rather, be glad that your views and disposition are such that you see people and the world with brighter eyes and a glass half full. :) i'd rather be a bit naive, a bit too trusting, and get burned a few times than wear pessimism and cynicism as part of my 'armor' any day!

i hope you get things sorted out and move on to friendlier pastures where trustworthiness abounds!

ps, thanks for such a great comment on my shot. loved what you had to say. :)

You know... Trust is a funny thing.
I think it's taken too lightly.
I, too, have lost friends due to trust.
