[193/365] Siddhartha

"The truest path of enlightenment lies in patient and systematic examination of all aspects of life, and discovering the solution to it's suffering"

The buddha was born in 566BC, son of a wealthy and powerful king, Suddhodana, the ruler of the Sakya clan in what is now known as Nepal. He was given the name Siddhartha which means, "He who has attained his aim"

How do I know all this? Because today we went to the Obon Festival in Japantown, San Jose. Apart from learning a little about Buddhism, I also introduced my parents to the delights of Sushi and Teriyaki. Yum Yum!
