Ravenswood Apartments, Max Maltzman 1930

The Ravenswood is an Art Deco style apartment building designed by architect Max Maltzman for Paramount Pictures in 1930. It has been home to many motion picture stars including Mae West, Ava Gardner and Clark Gable. May West lived in Apartment No. 611 from 1932 until her death in 1980. Declared a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument (No. 768).
