ISS and Moon (7%)
There was an ISS lunar transit today at 12:27pm. Sun was nearly at highest, Moon was very slim, quite close to Sun (30°) and I was over ambitious :) Wanted to capture a nice color image of the transit, but first of all I was so struggling to find the Moon. Sometimes I could spot it with naked eye, but kept losing it especially when trying to focus on Moon with the ASI224MC camera. At one point I started questioning if there is any good reason to continue. Eventually all went fine, the atmospheric turbulence was not a great help though but now I know what to expect when imaging around lunch time. A little bit disappointed not being able to show the color version, but the colors look very unrealistic despite my best effort correcting it in PS, also less details of the ISS. On the other hand it was a good test and fun!
No details on Moon, I positioned myself far enough from centerline so that ISS was appeared at the southern limb of Moon.
You can see two bright dots on the sharper frames of ISS, the bottom one of those spots might be the SpaceX Dragon cargo ship ;)
