This square is sandwiched between stately homes of the 15th arrondissement near Place and Avenue de Bréteuil and métro stations Sèvres Lecourbe (6) and Ségur (10).
This photo is taken from the Rue Valentin Haüy and the side street is the Rue Bouchut. And the the fountain is in the middle!
Place Georges Mulot
Place Georges-Mouse is a place in the 15th arrondissement, it is named after Louis-Georges Mulot, the engineer who drilled artesian well of Grenelle, at the time in the courtyard of the slaughter of Grenelle.
Place Georges-Mulot is on the corner of Valentine-Haüy and Bouchut, in the 15th arrondissement. Instead of circular houses at its center a fountain called "Fountain of the well of Grenelle" dating from 1905 and whose medallions representing celebrities including George Mulot, Rosa Bonheur, Valentin Haüy and Dr. Eugene Bouchut. The fountain was built on the exact location of the drilling of artesian well in the past. It is a realization of the architect Jean-Camille Formigé, the medallions are works by Waas, George Loiseau-Bailly, Firmin Marcelin Michelet, and Lefebvre.
