Campania, Southern Italy, 350-325 BC acquired in Paris 1951, terracotta, 53cm high, restored from fragements, attributed to the Libation Painter.

 

Showing Iphigenia handing Pylades a letter from her brother in Argos, an illustration from Euripides' play 'Iphigenia at Tauris', written in about 413 BC.
