magnolia: a naturalistic capture

Villa Papadopoli-Giol; it is in San Polo di Piave (near Treviso, Italy)

Here is the front toward the park seen from the lake.

The shape you can see now is from 1890 in neogothic style.

The park surronding the villa is work by the famous landscape Italian Architect Francesco Bagnara in 1865 and it is in romantic style taking inspiration from English XIX garden style.

Francesco Bagnara (1784-1866) was born in Vicenza (Italy) and was Professor at the Art Academy in Venice and set-designer at the Fenice Theatre in Venice, too.
