Piraeus Archaeological Museum, Greece.

 

Together with 3 other great original Greek bronzes discovered in 1956 during work on the drains at the corner of Vasileos Georgiou Protou and Philonos Streets, Piraeus.

Since 87 B.C, they had been stored in a room in the harbour to prevent them from beeing carried off.

Now, the 4 Piraeus bronzes are in the proud possession of the Piraeus Museum
