Ladybug from side

It has been an unusually warm winter with temps over 70F on Sunday. It seemed too early to be doing gardening, but the tulips and daffodils had sprung to life, so I cleaned the debris off the gardens. As I moved the leaves, ladybugs began to emerge from the earth. I was entranced to watch them climb a twig to dry off and warm themselves in the sunshine before they took flight.
