Nothing refreshes the spirit like a walk in the woods. After a couple of hours in the woods, I can face the mind-numbing week ahead.
This was my first visit to Chatfield Hollow. I knew there was a covered bridge somewhere in the park, but was not sure where. The front gate was closed, so I had to park just off the street and walk in. I found a trail head marked "covered bridge trail," so I took it. The trail climbs steadily up with into the woods. Eventually the path starts to descend, and follows a stream, where it eventually comes to this bridge. I was pretty winded by the time I got to the bridge, loaded down with every piece of camera equipment I own. That's when I noticed the nice flat road I could have taken.
What did Frost say about the road not taken?
