Hetch Hetchy Resevoir

    Newer Older

This is the Hetch Hetchy reservoir in Yosemite National Park. When I turn on my taps, this is where the water comes from. The valley was dammed amid some controversy in the early part of the last century. Today, its a lesser known but still beautiful part of Yosemite National Park.

Thanks Martin - you're very kind. I really appreciate all the comments. I was lucky enough on this trip to Yosemite - on both days it took forever to get organised with the kids in tow, so by the time we finally arrived at the sights, it was mid-afternoon and the light was pretty good for photographs

Hi Sam - I used the Sigma 10-20 for this. Its a really awesome lens, but I don't often get that much use out of it.
