011.365 - January 11, 2010 (298 (Y2))

After tomorrow, if I work my full shift, I'll have 46.5 hours for the week. When I clocked out today, I was worried that I'd have less than 40. I'm pleased that I'm starting to get into that familiar routine again, minus the exhaustion that comes with it.

I found out today that the guy who started with me no longer works with us. It was actually no surprise, since he called in on his third day of work and hasn't called, or showed up for his shifts since. Supposedly, his roommate got into a car accident on Friday (understandable) and he had to help the guy watch his kid until they could find his/her mother. When I first heard of that, I was understanding, but the more I thought of it, the more I thought that it was an excuse to quit. Jamie (one of my co-workers) said yesterday that he had told him that "This is easier than my previous job" or something like that. Meh, there was something that just didn't sit right with me about the guy anyway. The first day I worked with him, he rubbed me the wrong way.

My diet is still going well. I've fallen in love with Aquafina's sparkling water. It gives me that "I'm drinking soda!" taste without actually drinking it. They're not that bad either. I purchased a scale on Friday, and weighed myself for the first time in a couple of months; I was five pounds less than I was at that time. I was excited, but at the same time, unsure if it was the cause of cutting out a lot of the excess sugar, or was lost before I started. The cravings are slowly going away, and what I'm craving right now is another sparkling water. Mmm.

Other than that, there's nothing else really to say. I think I'm going to catch a couple of minutes of sleep while the house is still quiet.
