Kochrab Mo'

    Newer Older

Spotted this guy in Kochrab on my way to work and chased him down a side street to ask if I could photograph him. He was quite puzzled by it all – but obliged. Definately the best mo' I've seen in recent times!

you have a way of photographing people.wonder how you get them to pose for you.Last week I asked a street vendor and he said No to me.Like your portraits keep clicking.

I just smile & ask. But usually it happens really fast as I'm just passing through on my scooter. I think that most people guess that I am foreign (as I don't speak local languages) and this makes them more excited about being photographed. About 1 in 15 people say no, which I always respect.

There are so many things that pop into my head when I look at this picture but the first is that I'd like to have a beer and go bowling with this guy. Freakin' outstanding.

Going up to someone and asking if I can photograph them is one of my goals in life. I always feel too embarrassed to do it!
      Great, great photo!

I've been looking at a few of your photos that I've 'faved' and I was wondering; how do you get such PERFECT lighting on practically all your photos without using the flash? (As well as perfect composition and colors and so forth, :P)

I lamost always shoot out of direct sunlight. And then as my Ixus has no white balance I have to tone down the whites in Photoshop. And I guess I do a lot of deleting!
