Wild Flower in the Grass
Just a simple shot of a wild flower I found growing in the backyard, I picked it and moved it to where the sun was shining because it was in a unflattering position and I wanted to have it sitting in the grass. I used my trusty Opteka 10X Macro lens on my 35mm f/1.8G to get in close, especially useful since the main flower was only a 1/4 of an inch across. I also used my Nikon SB-700 off-camera with a small softbox attached. I just placed the flash in the grass to the left of me and turned the power down real low to help fill in the details.
