The Other Side of Me

I got the opportunity to do some shooting at Bella Salon the other night. They were doing a sort of warmup exercise for Austin Fashion Week. It was a chance for makeup artists and models to try some looks out. I got to work with Steve Wampler and Mark Heaps at this event. It was a fun event and I learned a lot about working under some pressure with a line of models stacked up waiting for some shots. I took this shot after we were done. I noticed some mirrors in the back of the salon and just had to get a reflection shot of this model in front of one. I love the duality of her makeup!

The shot is a B&W JPG from my X100, adjusted for contrast and tone in Lightroom. A cream colored split tone effect was used.
