Family Dead

The Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin put on an early celebration of Dia de los Muertos last Saturday. A highlight of the celebration was a parade down 6th street. Many of the participants were in costume and/or face paint. My friend Andy and I walked along the parade route to grab some shots. The event was a family affair and this couple with their child in a stroller caught my eye. It was a fun and lively event - Day of the Dead, Austin style.
