Kin Takahashi Week 2011
More than 100 alumni, friends, current students, faculty and staff of Maryville College were on campus June 13-17 for the 15th annual Kin Takahashi Week.
Named for a student from Maryville College’s past, Kin Takahashi Week celebrates the “can-do” spirit of a student who, during the 1890s, founded the College’s first football team and led a project to built Bartlett Hall.
Alumni travel from far and wide to donate to the College something other than money – their time. They sign up for manual labor projects like pressure washing, painting, carpentry, masonry and landscaping.
