Medici Coat of Arms

Vatican Museum: Very interesting rendition of the Medici Coat of Arms/Crest in the Vatican Museum. The main elements of the crest are the 6 balls or circles. The arrangement seems to vary greatly, as does whether they are all red or whether the middle/top ball is blue. This was my favorite and seemed to be one of the most develped versions. Although it was flat, we did see many sculpted renditions of the crest so there is clearly precedent for a multi-dimensioned crest.
