Douglas Falls

on the North Fork of the Blackwater River. Thomas, West Virginia


The interesting orange/red color of the rocks is due to pollution of the river for many years, due to mining activity (there are no fish in the river due to this). There was really too high of water flow here, but hey, you do what you can.
