Colombia - Ciudad Perdida trek 40

Circular stone terraces are one of the key features of the Teyuna "Lost City" site. Numbering over 250, most of which are still buried in the surrounding jungle, each terrace would have once held a wood and thatch hut for a family, work or ceremonial use.

Archeological data suggests that Teyuna once was inhabited by 2000 people as well as being an important pilgrimage and ceremonial centre for the entire region.
