365/115 At Least There's The Beach
Today was No Fun At All. It wasn't dramatically awful in a I-can-turn-this-into-a-good-story way, it was just full of painful memories, awkward conversations and sadness. But at least it was warm, and as I drove home in the sunset I decided to stop by the beach to see the shore birds pigging out on shellfish at the low tide. I saw a couple of guys with a kite and wished I'd brought one of mine. In a few months it will be spring and kite flying at the beach will be a regular possibility. There are betters days ahead!
