Twenty-four of Kentucky's best and brightest high school students participated in the McConnell Center's 2017 Young Leaders Academy. The four-day residential leadership program considered "Rethinking American Constitutionalism" and featured faculty from UofL and area universities. Students delivered debates on topics related to federalism and judicial review, situating themes into both historical and current contexts.
