July 21-25: The McConnell Center took a group of McConnell Scholars and Teacher Scholars to Detroit for a final series of seminars on Alexis de Tocqueville's Democracy in America. The trip concluded the McConnell Center's year-long study of Tocqueville's magnum opus.
