Horseshoe bend

    This is the Colorado River at a place just down river from Glen Canyon. This is a 270 degree bend in the river.

    Something I learned about myself today. I have apparently developed an even deeper respect for heights and my personal desire to live. Well at least I didn't want to drop the 1000 feet to the river below.

    I crawled to the edge to get this view. It was worth it.

      lol. I know exactly what you mean... I did the same thing...dropped to my knees...crawled out and laid down to shoot - very scary! Nice shot, though. :-)
