This is the second lot of photos I've seen from someone in Wisconsin and it looks like a beautiful part of the world. This is a great shot.

@crouchy: oh, it so is. This natural beauty called Wisconsin glows in autumn. Wisconsin, among the states, is not unlike a steno pool of mostly-okay-looking gals who go out for drinks after work ... given the right conditions those tightly wound buns on the tops of their heads come tumbling down into wavy cascades of lush and the natural beauty just spills all over. Come visit!

Isn't it delicious to catch a shot (out the car window, no less) that you think to yourself 'oh yes, that's IT' and then you post it to flickr for whatever purpose you might, then you log in a day later to discover that others are also looking at the shot while thinking to themselves 'oh yes'. What a happy feeling.

I feel like I'm there. Very nice. The colors and the light are just perfect.

I don't for a moment mean to sound ungrateful but I'm not sure I understand what 'original composition' means.

      Could someone clarify?

You captured this perfectly. I think the originality is in the angle you composed, or took the shot, from. It has a sort of yin-yang quality.

Thank you for the direction-pointing to 'Natural Landscapes', bprm2. I've added this to the purdy pool there.
