Loeb Falls

After hugging the coast line for the four straight days we felt it was time to head a bit inland to see what the coastal forests of southern Oregon were like. Our real goal was to sniff out one of the few stands of Redwoods in Oregon (yes, there are actually Redwoods in Oregon!). Along the way I hiked past an amazing waterfall complex. This image shows just one small section of the falls. I wish we had more time to explore the area more, but with a three month old in tow we knew we wouldn't have much time.

By the way, the little guy did amazingly well on his first week long road trip..... hopefully he'll grow to like exploring new areas as much as his dad...
