Dawn on North Peak
One of my best mornings shooting last year occurred on a backpack to the ponds and lakes under North Peak. Most of the smoke from the Yosemite wildfires had sunk to lower elevations and the famed Sierra light showed up in full force. No dramatic clouds, just crisp mountain light.
On the technical side, there are a few blemishes visible in the open areas, such as the sky and water. They're a result of my use of an old gnd, scratched from a summer of shooting. I've spent a bit of time cloning the spots out with moderate success. If anyone has an great technique for completing the job I'd like to hear it. Thanks ahead of time!
