1974 Mercury Cougar

That's me posing in front of my one of my uncles cars in '78. He loved big US cars. In the late ninetees, when he owned a Grand Marquis, he had the chance to drive a Honda Accord. He was converted immediately. The Merc went that same week, and since then it is Honda on his driveway.


But in the seventees it was still American iron for him. Though this yellow car wallowed in every direction, had vinyl seats (which was already extinct in Europe by the time) and a bench seat which gave no support whatsoever, I was impressed. But only because it had power windows and A/C. So what might this be?
