Transamerica / Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands.

One of my first images that I made from the Marin Headlands on a early September morning.

This time I went with a super long (9 1/2 minutes) exposure to try and smooth out the slow moving fog, but here in this image it doesn't really look like the fog moved one bit.

After going through the images from this set for the past week, I decided I liked this second best next to my last upload. The colors in the sky and mystical fog along the foreground trees are what I like most.

Thanks for stopping by and having a look!

Wonderful! Love the light on the fog, and the way it lies lightly over the hills. Great distant city skyline, between cloud and glowing sky. Nice to see your new work....I'm back after a long hiatus :~)Hills

Seen on your photo stream. (?)

Yes, it may look as though the fog did not move but the undulations stay in place just like ripples in the water moving over rocks in a river stay in place. But the smoothness gives it away. The trees disappearing into the fog is a nice touch.

    How did I miss this.

Outrageous shot. That fog and the subtle light is superb.

I am hoping to get the 5d as soon as I get work and can't wait...
