Rodeo Beach - Marin Headlands - Northern California.

The weather has been clear and dry for the past few weeks making it next to impossible to get any interesting land or seascape images. When I headed down highway 101 I noticed some nice clouds hanging of the coast, so I headed to one of my "go to" spots to catch sunset.

I have made a few images of these sea stacks on Rodeo Beach before so I decided to try something a little different. I hiked up the trail that runs behind the shore hoping to get a fresh perspective. Im sure this view has been photographed before but something I have not done.

Canon 5D Mark II - 17-40mm - 10 stop solid ND - circular polarizer (for the extra 2 stops) - 2&3 stop hard edge ND grad.
