South African Navy, Valour-class guided missile Frigate, SAS Amatola, Portsmouth, 21/02/17.
SAS Amatola and HMS Dragon departing Portsmouth Harbour at 8:00am, en-route to the site of the sinking of the 'SS Mendi'. Naval dignitaries and family members of some of the 500 South African men lost were on-board for the centenary commemorations.
