Chimera
A new character i am workin on for a series of illustration that i'm going to finish soon and i'll upload to Flickr.
The strange character is a CHIMERA.
A Chimera is a monstrous creature made of the parts of multiple animals, Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and sister of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.
The fact that the Chimera is a sum of multiple animal parts made me think deeply how to create it in order to be original. So i ended up creating a monster with this particular tecnique which puts together hand drawn parts( the lion is made with pastels and ink), the Goat's head ink on white square paper, the body on photoshop and the snake as well.
