The faded front of an abandoned store south of the rail tracks in Shiner, Texas. A small south-central farming community settled in the late nineteenth century, Shiner was formed by tight-knit Czech and German immigrants, but today it is best known as the home of the Spoetzl Brewery that produces Shiner Beer.
