Looking through the Natural Bridge off Badwater Valley in Death Valley, CA (devils32xy)
Natural Bridge Trail, Death Valley, CA. Just off the main road through Badwater Valley, there is a trailhead that leads up into the a dry wash. After less than a mile tromping through thick, heavy sand, the trail passes underneath a giant natural rock bridge that hangs over the canyon. Given a few more thousand years of erosion, this bridge will slowly wear away, but for now it's a massive stone arch hanging tens of feet overhead. October 20, 2007.
