St Paddy's

Explored #1 -30/7/12

I love the architecture of my local catholic church. Conveniently, it's facade faces due north, making it a great subject for some star trails. This is a single frame from a 30 minute startrails session.

I'm not particularly impressed with the 60d's performance in astrophotography terms, perhaps if I invested in some slightly faster glass I could do alright. However, I am thinking I will go full frame sooner rather than later. I'm hoping the rumours are true about canon's alleged new FF camera to be announced shortly.

Here is a link if anyone is interested.. ticks most of my boxes.
