Lightning, Stars and, Cornstalks
Another image from the night of the Sacramento lightning storm.
The cloud tops were so low, and the night was so clear that it was a total and complete surprise to find forks of cloud to ground lightning lighting up the late night sky.
This was as close as Mike Oria and I would get to it though…. it was speeding away at somewhere around 30 mph. Lucky thing he wanted the powerline towers in the shot and I saw this cornfield. We made a good team!
