San Francisco Fog

I was up in the Marin Headlands with Jean Day and Jeff Sullivan this past weekend doing some light painting with them in the old tunnels up above Kirby Cove.

Every now and then I would break away from my friends and just gaze out at the city.

I wound up completely mesmerized, standing there, watching the fog slowly seep into the city from out in the avenues near Ocean Beach. The light play along with the fog is magical. I have flown over the city at night while it was semi covered in small patches of fog and have to say it's a beautiful combination of elements.

I could have stood there all night long watching the flow of the mists as they wove and wended their way through the nooks and crannies of this most romantic city.
