Golden Gate Bridge, Foggy Night

Best Viewed Large

I was heading for home with my daughter and thought I'd take her over the Golden Gate bridge at night for fun. As I came over the hill I noticed that there was fog pouring in from the headlands and decided to see what it looked like from Battery Spencer... which turned out to be completely blanketed and black, so, on a whim I decided to check out Fort Baker and this scene greeted us. My daughter braved the cold and marveled at the sound of the nearby fog horn. She was amazed at how fast the fog pours over the bridge into the bay... something I had long been used to seeing.
